How many Cabins does your site have?

We have 5 en-suite Running Water Deluxe cabins, plus 1 Fully Accessible Cabin, all facing the incredible views over Sutton Bank.

Do you have Hot Tubs?

3 of our Cabins have Wood Fired Hot Tubs, 3 do not have a Hot Tub.

Do you allow dogs/pets?

We currently do not allow pets as we are a working farm, with young working dogs, however this policy is under review.

Is the site suitable for children?

There is no play park yet, however there is plenty of grass playing area around the cabins.

Do you accept groups, parties or celebrations?

We welcome groups but by prior arrangement and they must book the whole site.

Do you allow campfires?

Our Cabins come with a complementary Fire Pit/BBQ on purchase of your first bag of logs.
Strictly no disposable bbqs on site.

Inside all our Cabins is a small kitchen, which includes microwave, 2 cooking hobs. Each Cabin also come with an outdoor Firepit/BBQ.

Is there parking next to the Cabins?

We offer a space for 1 car behind each Cabin, which is included in your rate.

What is the latest time I can check in?

The latest check in time is 17:00 (later check in by arrangement)

What time to I need to vacate the Cabin?

We ask everyone to vacate their Cabin by 10.00am prompt.

Do you have a shop/reception onsite?

We have a reception on site which sells basic essentials plus the optional extras offered.
This is open at varied times of the day; these times will be given on arrival.

How many toilets and showers do you have onsite?

Each Cabin has an ensuite, including shower.

Do you have a family shower for babies?

Unfortunately, we do not provide this kind of facility.

Do you offer Laundry Facilities?

We have a Laundry building which is located near to your cabin, a washing machine, dryer and sink is available for use.

Do you have a Welly Wash?

We provide an outside tap on the rear of each Cabin to wash your boots after a morning on the farm or a days hiking.

How close is the nearest pub or restaurant?

Within 1 mile of your cabin by car, or whilst taking in the scenic off-road family friendly route, will take you 10 minutes walk.
We are very spoilt as we have many excellent pubs/restaurants within the surrounding villages.

Are there any off -road walking/cycle paths?

We are spoilt for choice for walks and cycle paths, we can provide maps if required, we are located a stone's throw away from Sutton Bank which is one of the hardest stages of the "Tour de Yorkshire" cycle race, for those that fancy a challenge.

How far to the nearest supermarket?

Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Co-op (5 miles away in Thirsk)

How far is it from public transport?

The nearest train station, bus stop is 5 miles away in Thirsk.

Is there WiFi access onsite?

Yes we provide WiFi access within each Cabin free of charge.

Miscellaneous:

Each morning we welcome guests to come and join us on and around the farm, bottle feeding lambs at lambing times, letting out and collecting eggs from our free range hens, giving "Jim", our resident teddy bear Ryeland rare breed sheep a cuddle, feeding 60 Alpacas, Pygmy goats, Alice & Annie, Betsy the Shetland pony and so much more.

We do have various sizes of wellington boots in our boiler room, which people may borrow if they so wish, however we do suggest you bring your own if you are thinking of joining us, just in case.
